Gents, thanks for your input. I have used all the aftermarket from Hot Heads. the oil block off and the filter spin off adapter. The cam is a custom grind Bob walker had done for me and he also supplied the lifters for me. My problem is identicle to what the 1st response was. At Idle the motor is good to go. The lifter noise is loud at 1500. Then seems to fade around 2800 then back at 4000 and gone again near 5000rpm. It seems strange the old mopar books say this can occur from airation into the oil system or overfilled or underfilled oil system. If anyone else has any better ideas let me know. Mike
