well, if there is a ventline (i believe all FL cars had ventlines, at least all 60-61 fullsize) you DO NOT need a vented gas cap. all my FL cars had ventlines and i NEVER used a vented cap. i drove @ 170+k without trouble. THE ORIGINAL CAPS ARE NOT VENTED. make sure your vent line is not plugged.
