i need to know if my '59 plymouth Savoy uses a venting or non venting gas cap. the one i have(which is identical to the one NAPA suggests) is a non venting, but i dont trust NAPA's books 100% because of problems i've had before. also the former owner mentioned something about a venting cap, but he wasn't very clear. I think this may have caused some of the problems i'm currently fixing with my gas tank. i am almost ready to reinstall the tank, but i need to know what cap to use so i don't have to do this all over!
