We have installed a new windshield and gasket in my '56 Belvedere but the windshield was a little to wide, my glass man said this is not uncommon for the wrap around windshields. We also used a Bernbaum gasket and it is thicker than the original and pushes the trim out so it does not fit properly. Does anyone know if the Steele products gasket is more correct? My glassman says we should let it sit for several months and see if it pulls in. Well it has been in for quite a while and the bottom exterior sstrim is still bowed out and the top trim is not parallel to the raingutter. Any suggestions??/ Thanks Chuck
