I think running condition makes a big difference in price. If the car is driveable, good brakes, good tranny, solid engine - you can enjoy it right away. If it doesn't work at all - that really hurts the value. I really like the 2 door wagons, but I wouldn't pay more than $1K for one that didn't run at all (if it's a total basket-case, $100 is asking a lot). I think you're better off paying $5K for one that runs and drives and you're even better off paying $10K for a beautiful original or a fully restored gem. But, I know, money doesn't grow on trees!
