when reinstalling trans.---if you make (two) guide bolts-put them in any of the four bell housing bolt holes-they help guide trans in straight---the book says one-but two works better---about 2-3 in.long(exposed stem)---this will help save your seals---and while you have trans out-at least change front and rear seals---these two tips will save you a lot of grief---hope i helped---later---chuck lowe
