They should be packed with wheel bearing grease like the front wheels. This is best done when the bearings are installed. On the tapered axle cars, grease can be injected into the bearing with a grease needle by removing the backing plate. On the flanged axle cars, the axle needs to be pulled for the injection to take place. Mopar Randy
