Well now Canman, if that's a '66 date code on the manifold (you didn't say where this code was),AND you can't make out a date code on the left front of the block (where it should be on 1958 polys) it brings up the possibility that someone swapped a '66 318 and 3-speed in there, which would be normally be a good idea, BUT then the rebuilt clutch might not be the proper item! Hmmm, the interchange manual says the '66 poly still has the engine ID number "located on the left side in front of block below left cylinder head" (same as '57-65), so keep wiping off the grease until you see "LP8-____" for a '58 block.
