There is a neat paperback book out called "Cars of Cuba" that focuses on the many 50's vintage cars still on the road in cuba. The book is full of color pix, including one of a 59 Dodge. Many of these cars are creative hybrids - I recall one having a Russian Lada engine in it, plus assorted other "made to fit" parts. It is amazing to me that, given the salt air of the Caribbean, so many of them are still around and in reasonably great shape. They are clearly the pride and joy of their owners - something we can all relate to.
