Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a predicament and I was hoping you guys could help me out here. Just took my 318 engine block to the shop to be dipped. The guy said one of the cylinder walls was very badly scored and will need to be sleeved. I also took the pistons in only to find out that they were marginal. My question is, if I get it bored out to take care of the cylinder wall scoring, what would be a reasonable amount to bore it out. The engine is going to be a high performance street engine that is driveable yet competitive. Also, are oversized rings, pistons, etc. readily available? If so, what price? If I did get it bored out, would I need to change anything else or is everything that came stock on the motor compatible with oversized pistons, etc.? Also, if there is anything else I need to know, anything at all, please let me know. I don't want to get in over my head. Thanks guys! Arthur Ash III
