I think a remake would be more important than a sequel. I love the original movie but it pales in comparison to the book (in my opinion anyway). In the movie Christine was scary, in the book she was so evil it almost turned my stomach. The ideal situation would involve a remake of the original movie with Steven King in charge this time. Whether it be a TV remake or theatrical you need that before you can consider a sequel. I do agree completely that we should be able to rest easy as far as protecting the Plymouths goes. There is no reason whatsoever to destroy a real one. Besides, if done correctly I think a scene where Chrsitine rebuilds herself would be "way cool" if done with modern CGI (computer generated imageryl.
