How about the metal cube that was the 1958 Christine becomes recycled into the sheetmetal of a possessed red 2004 Dodge Neon SRT4? We'd have an update of this movie that would appeal to the "Fast & Furious" crowd (since the car is a turbo compact). This possessed SRT4 starts taking out Evo's,STI's,Supras, etc., just in street races at first, but then it REALLY starts 'taking them out' later in the film ('minus driver' scenes are a given!). Since all the cars are new or late models, destruction is not an issue. The original movie DID really raise awareness about late '50's Plymouths and Forward Look cars in general and saved lots of cars in the long term, but as Sid said it was a shame that it took a movie to make people aware of our cars! A Christine clone is better than a scrapped '58 for sure, but I always thought '58 Plymouths look best in black anyway... (especially that black '58 Fury out there!)
