Yew hit it dead center. After years of use abuse they die. Dont know how may I repalced on my 56 and know there are more awaiting. Cheapest guarantee against on the road problems!!!! If yew take somethin apart and the washer is flat, it do NO GOOD! Trip to hardware store and buy a BOX each of 1/2 and 9/16, and if U have the $$$$ also 5/8 and 3/8 on down till U run outta $$$$.
