U go to Radio Shack or similar and get a nice Normally CLOSED pushbutton style switch, with a fairly large pushbutton. U secure that to your underdash bracing so that when brake pedal is in the not in use position it pushes against the button hence the circuit is open and no brake lites. Apply pressure and switch opens and with only a bit of brake pedal movement your lites go on. Its the ONLY way to go. Just extend the two leads from old hydraulic switch to that new switch. Leave old switch in place with no wires to it.
