I think that would be a waste of time. Change your oil frequently and replace the filter each time and you will be fine. The amount of actual machine work to change the system from bypass to full flow is too great for the relatively small benefits. A good rebuild with good parts and careful blueprinting, and frequent oil changes with good oil (preferably synthetic) and your motor will run forever.
