I just did an AAJ conversion on a 62 dart and it all went well. Sometimes a small burr or something on the spindle can prevent the adapter from smoothly going on. Look close and feel carefully. I had one little tiny spot on my spindles and took a few strokes of a pattern file to get it smooth. Tight tolernces.
