Why don't you just get an fm converter? They plug in line to your am radio. All it has connected to the tuner is a power wiri and female in and out for the antenna wires. Fits easily in your glove compartment. I'm sure you can find one on Ebay or at your local flea market.It's the most inexpensive way out.
