JIM IS RIGHT YOU NEED TO MEASURE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN FOR TIRE CLEARANCE BUT YOU ALSO NEED TO CHECK THE ANGLE OF THE DRIVESHAFT AS SOME OLDER CARS HAD A WEDGE UNDER THE SPRING PERCH TO GIVE THE CORRECT ANGLE TO THE SHAFT I THINK THAT NEWER CARS THE ANGLE WAS SOMETIMES ALREADY BUILT IN TO THE PERCHSO IF YOU TAKE BOTH AXLES OUT AND PUT THEM ON A BENCH AND CHECK THEM ( YOU JUST PUT BLOCKS UNDER THE PERCHES TO RAISE IT UP HIGH ENOUGH TO GET THE DRUMS OFF IN THE AIR OR YOU CAN PUT AN ANGLE FINDER ON THE ORIGINAL SHAFT IN THE CAR CHECK IT SWITCH AXLES AND CHANGE IT IF NEED BE BY CUTTING THE PERCHES OFF AND REWELDING THEM AT THE PROPER SPOT SORRY THAT TOOK SO LONG TO SAY SWANNY
