I have just finished installing entire drivetrain from 60 chrysler into my 60 plymouth. The motor is a 383 2bbl. My question: the stock exhaust manifold on the passenger side has a long bracket that sticks forward which previously supported the generator.I want to change over to alternator but am wondering what would be the best appraoch. Most later 383's have mounting stud holes located at the front of the head where a bracket for the alt can be bolted to.My engine does not have this.Do I buck off the front of the exhaust manifold and try to come off the water pump with a bracket or is there a better way. Any help would be greatly appreciated. erik
