I'm coming to grips that my sickly '58 torqueflite will keep true to the forward look and not achieve reverse. On a related note, my uncle is forced to get rid of his old mopars. He has given me pick of the litter. Could a tranny out of a 63 Imperial or New Yorker work in my 58 Chrysler Windsor (354 Poly Spitfire). And what would i have to do for linkage. Theyre both push button but they have different layouts? Anyone have any clue or interested in picking up a 63 new yorker or imperial for cheap? Thanks a ton --JOEY M.
