I am not sure if this is normal or a bad bearing. At idle in neutral, the powerflight torque converter has a noticeable singing noise like a bad alternator bearing would sound. It goes away when it is in gear. There does not seem to be any problem with the transmission or performance. Is this normal, important, or impending disaster. It seems to have been there for some time but I never paid much attention to it until it was pointed out to me.
