o.k you say it seems to be getting fuel. ck. for spark. a bad coil, ballast, or condensor can cause your problem. i don't think you wired it wrong since it ran for an hour. ck. the key on voltage at the coil" should be 8-11 volts". if it's less than 8 replace the ballast. also ck. coil and condensor. condensors seldom go bad though. hope this helps.
