It may be your master cylinder and not you booster, that it shot. Also check the area around the firewall where the booster is attached. There might be something under the dash that is catching and binding. Try lubing the hinged area of the pedal. It all of that fails you can take the booster appart and inspect it. You may need to have your booster rebuilt.
