I had the same goal. I went to a junkyard and found a factory power brake unit. I got a new master cylinder & brake light switch from NAPA and I was in business. Now I'm working on converting the front drums to disc. Just check a junkyard. & you should be able to luck out. I think there ia a company that is selling power brake units that a OEM for the 58 plymouth but they require a core, no exceptions. With a core I think the cost was $400+. Not much help for those of us who do not have a core in the first place but it is a start.
