Yes, I know about this collection and have actually had the priviledge of getting to see it. The collection has one of each 1957 model convertible ever built! And if there were several models like Dodge had (Coronet and Custom Royal), each model is represented. They are all meticulously restored, and yes, all of the '57 Mopar convertibles are represented--every one of them! Also included are a few special cars like the Plymouth Fury and Chevy Cameo pick-up. The collection is owned by a private individual and is housed in a large industrial building in Phoenix. To the best of my knowledge, the collection is not open to the public. (I got in courtesy of a friend). The collection is supposed to be moved to a new facility in Palm Springs, CA. where it will be open to the public. Construction of the building is well underway, but I have heard that there were some zoning problems or something, and the opening has been delayed. In fact, I have heard that the collection is for sale! Anybody want to make a bid? I wish I could tell you more, and I don't know who to tell you to contact to learn more. But I can tell you that it is one impressive collection!
