Bob the way I normally do it is to use clay on top of the aircleaner and close the hood VERY SLOWLY. But you can start by putting a level on the hood checking the level then opening the hood and put a straight edge from the lip on the top of the firewall (where the hood resrs) forward at the same angle. Works for me. Bob
