If you are using stock Bell Housing try to switch to 12 Volt system. You will be happier in the Long run. The 56 Dodge Bell housing bolt directly to the 392 Hemi and the flywheel and starter match up perfect. I have a 1956 Dodge Coronet and put a 392 hemi in it without changing any of the drive components except milling the input shaft down approx 1.5 inches and adding a bearing adapter for the Crank but this is a Non synchro 3 speed column shift car.
