Brad: If you have a starter shop replace your field windings with heavier units this should fix your problem. I have used this configuration in 392's with compression ratios of 11.5:1, near sea level, with no problems. However, the camshafts used were long duration, which does help bleed off static compression. What is your compression ratio? What kind of camshaft specs. are you using?
