Hi Peter, by all means have a professional welder move your perches. Get a new pr of perches from Summit or Mopar Performance - they're dirt cheap. It isn't necessary to hire a welder who specializes in automotive, but you have to be sure the perches are welded on at the correct angle in relation to the face of the open 3rd member. I always removed the 3rd member, support the tubes with jack stands and rotate the housing until the perch pads are level. Secure the housing so it can't rotate, cut off the old perches, put the new ones on level and weld them on. I've done this many times and it works flawlessly. Hope this helps. Herman
