This sounds silly, but I want to pull the flathead in my 57 the same way I will drop it in later when it is painted. What is the best way to hook the chains of the cherry picker to the motor so I can lift it safely, and drop it back in later without scratching up the freshly painted block? I don't want to pull the manifolds off while the motor is in the car, and I don't want to reinstall them on the stand, so I want to drop a complete assembled motor into the car in one shot. The tranny is staying in the car. Please let me know quick, since that's all that's left to yank it out and tear it down so I can finally rebuild that ol' anvil.
