It would be great to see the big long finned cars on the road again. In the age of CAFE and style by committee the proper proportions is almost impossible. It's sad that the Exners, Loweys, and Earls have been replaced by consumer poles and marketing. If they ever designed a modern car based on the '57 Desoto I'd be the first one in line. How about if the next generation T-bird looked like the '61s. The closest thing we have to fins right now are those zippy cars with the Wright Brothers specials bolted on back. And thats not that close at all.
