If your car is a '58 Dodge Coronet or Royal, the standard, original V8 engine would be a 325 cu.in. Red Ram. Though only one cu.in. different displacement, the 325 is a completely different engine; it is the last version of the original Dodge V8 introduced in 1953 and last used in 1958.The '59 326 V8 is actually a Plymouth-based engine, and was only used in 1959.
