If the 56 D-200 is a running engine, that is close to what you have right now, and will swap in. Then you could take you time to "build up" the onther 315 poly into an hemi (or locate a 315/325 hemi), and swap it into your truck in place of the running 315 poly. That is "easiest" way to go. No frame hacks or welding needed. The 241 is a little samll for a pickup truck, even though it is visually better since its a hemi.
