Chevrolet offered "three on the tree" at least through 1972, perhaps into 1973 on certain full size models. The newest big Mopar I have ever seen with a three on the tree was a 1970 Fury I with a 225. Other oddball I have seen over the years with a column shifted three speed were a '68 Olds Delmont, a '71 Satellite, a '62 Buick full sizely not available in big Buicks by then), a '70 Impala four door hardtop (after about 1967 or so, three speed manuals in big Chevys were limited to Bel Airs and Biscaynes.) A coworker has an '87 Chevy pick up with a six and three on the tree. This is the newest vehicle of any make I have seen with that shifting configuration
