Hi all, I have a 57 plymouth 2 dr hardtop that going by the body number, starts off with 208??? ( cant remember the rest)was oringaly a 6 cylinder from factory I think. The engine that now resides is a 1960 318 dodge dart engine going by the numbers. The install looks original alright, it was the numbers that rang alarm bells Did the chrysler corp change engines for warranty or for customer request, the reason I ask this is a 1957 plymouth wagon was a 301 but got converted to a 1960 318 see link below http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1872694355 Any Ideas??
