Yeah, the compression is down a bit, but I also forgot we use that "gasohol" stuff and the oxygenated gasoline from October through March. Whether or not that's a factor, I don't know. It does hurt the fuel economy and power output. I thought perhaps the needle valve, accelerator pump or float could be messed up, but the carb was overhauled during the summer and worked properly all summer. It seldom gets humid here, but on those ultra rare damp or rainy days, that little 230 sure wakes up! :-) Thanks for your reply.
