Erik....THe two vehicles share most sheetmetal in the front, so this is possible. There is a little chrome/stainless trim differece with the 55s "tooth look" to the 56s "eggcrate" style, so you need to watch for those pieces. Definitely need to use the 55s grille braces. There COULD be some trim attachment hole position differences, although they would be minor. More of a bother since you need to fill/relocate and paint. Go for it!
