Alumcan, what I was trying to say was that very few authors or filmakers do the proper research. The book Christine was full of factual errors when it came to the car (4 doors and Hurst gearbox come to mind). I was saying that if your book was about a car, at least get the basic facts right. Films are bad for this too. Anyone remember Vanishing Point when the car turned into a Camaro before the crash scene? Ever seen the film The Italian Job? Contains a fairly famous chase scene around Turin using Mini Coopers. One previous scene has a guy working under the rear of a Mini who says he is "Just changing the diff" For those of you who don't know (or care), the Mini is FWD. My point was, try and get it right about the technical side. That's all. Adam
