OK, here is a rather novice question. I am changing the oil on the '58 Coronet I just got last weekend. I special ordered the oil filter element and I matched it up to the old one, so it is correct. I can't get the case to thread again, never mind getting the darn gasket to fit correctly. I am not sure why I am having so many problems, but I was hoping someone might have a few tips to make my life a little easier. I am getting very frustrated with the whole thing. I haven't been able to find the source of my oil leak yet and when I backed the car out of the garage to reposition it to put it on ramps, there is a large puddle of red fluid (which I can only assume is tranny fluid) on the floor. It is all over under the car, so I haven't been able to determine the source of that yet either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. PS- is there a repair manual made for 1958 Dodge Coronets? Thanks, Tina
