Trust me, you want to tell her now. No point in trying to explain where that extra money and time are going. If you tell her, then it can stay at home and you will work on it more. I have a four door 57 Savoy that I am restoring, and have been for twelve years, and will be for thirty more! I can tell you, sometimes four door parts are harder to find, but they generally are cheaper. that said, I have more money tied up in the paint job on my car than the blue book says it is worth. I have been offered twice what I have in the paint. Remember, it takes a butt for every seat.
