It doesn't take much interior, paint, wheels, tires, engine work, insurance, etc. to eliminate any possible future investment potential. There is only a very small percentage of cars that are worth restoration with the hopes of even breaking even, and most of those are beyond the means of most of us. But that's O.K.; it sounds like you have a car that will be a lot of fun to drive and show. Nothing's wrong with four doors. I have a wagon myself (much to my wife's chagrin), but four-doors and wagons are being appreciated more and more. They're practical, too. Heck, after almost half a century, anything restored back to use is nice. But do it because you two can afford it, and have fun with it. But if you do want something more popular, get what you really want, and get the best you can afford and start from there. There's a lot of useful information out there - much of it on-line now - and more coming out all the time. I'm finding that these Forward-Look guys are really nice and helpful. In some ways, parts are easier to find than popular muscle-car stuff. Keep us posted, O.K.?
