Yep,the cast iron 'Flite would need a pre-62 crank. Of course,you COULD stick that crank into a '62-up poly block or even (this would be hilarious) the LA 318 blocks. You DO know the 727's weigh 65 lbs. less than the 466 cast iron 'Flites as well? And finding someone who can rebuild a 727 (even an early one) is MUCH easier than getting an 466 properly rebuilt?
