The LA engine is out of character under the hood of a Forward Look car. Owning a Forward Look car means you are a person who is proud to have a DISTINCTIVE car instead of taking the "easy way out" and getting a '60's musclecar or '57 Chevy,so your ENGINE has to be something to be proud of too,not just some run-of-the-mill LA 318 that you can find under the hood of a beater A-body or '80's Dodge Truck....(which is what people will think you yanked it out of...) A full-out 500+ hp race poly sounds incredibly mean,people think it's a Hemi until they see it in the pit cooling down between runs.
