I have been reading the comments concerning the "poly" engines with some saying very good and others indicating they were no good. All I can relate is experience with the one my dad had. It was a '57 Plymouth and bought new by him with a 301 Fury engine with 2-barrel carb. This car ran 330,000 miles with nothing but ordinary maintance. Not bad for what some perceive to be a bad engine. chuck
