I contacted a company that was advertising steering gear rebuilds for almost half what Lars charges. Anyway, they replied they might get sued if they made any comments about pricing differences. Has anyone tried the cheaper competition. I found that replacing the inner and outer tie rods, center (drag) link, and idle arm made a big difference in steering. The job is very easy to do.
