I just rebuilt the carb on my 57 Belvedere, six cyl., with a kit from Daytona Pats Co. My question is about the base (mounting) gasket. There are two small ports on the base of the carb, and the gasket that came with the kit covers one of these ports. The gasket has several slots in it, as if it's for several applications, but there is no slot cut where this port is. Anyone else run into this before? Thanks.
