I am beginning to look into rebuilding the flathead in my 57. Where have any of y'all bought parts for a flathead rebuild? I am having a hard time fingind a reasonable place to buy parts online. The local NAPA is filled with morons, and the other chain stores are worse. This isn't going to be a re-ring and gasket job, but a full bore restoration of the motor from the block up, so I am going to spend some major cash on it. I want to stretch every penny as far as I can so I can get some extra machine work done for some extra ponies without giving up the bone stock look.
