Hey, there is one impotant thing to remember about fiberglass: It will not flex like the metal will. If the panel has to bend or flex, the fiberglass might delaminate. Plastic filler also has glass in it(glass powder), but it is more flexable than regular fiberglass. If the repair was done in an area where the metal is very rigid, it might be okay. What was the purpose of the repair? I am guessing it was rust repair. How long ago was the repair and how is it holding up? I can't tell you if it will hold up or not, but I think fiberglass sticks better to primer and paint that it does to bare metal. Good luck That Steve Guy
