Why all the 2 dr. Custom Suburbans were V8-powered in their last year (also why all the 1959 Savoy business coupes were 6-cyl. only in THEIR last year) was decided by a marketing director who is likely now deceased by this time,so 'Einstein' doesn't know why either. The answer is "Lost to time"; unless you want to have a seance or get on that TV show "Crossings" or somesuch.....
