Hi Ted. I usually take my vehicles or cables to a local speedometer and have a new cable made. They really aren't expensive and the shops have all sorts of ends and adapters to make everything work perfectly. As a bonus, you'll have a new cable that will not bind, make noise or need gaphite treatment. I had a new cable made for my '59 Suburban a few years ago and it cost around twenty bucks.
